Black Dog presents Easy Evenings with Night Fever ( A Tribute to Bee Gees)

Since time immemorial people have always been haunted with stress and tension. This is the main cause of shortening of one’s life span. If you are one such person, you should probably take it down couple of notch and try to take the world at your speed, or at least take the evening to relax while sipping your favorite drink. Imagine doing that and also spending time with your loved once while having a great time listening to  great music. This is what happened.

When I received an invite to be a guest at the Black Dog Easy Evenings where they paid tribute to one of the most iconic bands ever - Bee Gees, I couldn't say no. The icing on the cake? Black Dog Scotch had invited Night Fever - the best tribute band for the Bee Gees all the way from Canada. Here is how the night ensued.

After some good music and splendid Scotch (Black Dog 8 & 12 y.o.) I headed home with an experience to cherish for a long time. It's premium brands like Black Dog that truly know how to bring home the "exclusive" feeling.

The CoolStream Bluetooth Stereo Headphones

The CoolstreamTM Bluetooth Stereo Headphones, from Exeter Science and Entertainment, is a lightweight, affordable pair of Bluetooth headphones, available for 49.99 on Amazon. Set-up is simple: turn the headphones on, pair them with your device, and you’re all set to listen to music, watch videos, and make and receive phone calls. The product comes in both black and white, with cushioned leather ear pads and a no-slip headband. It comes with a USB charging cord and an instruction manual that is easy to follow, even for users new to Bluetooth.
CoolStream Headphones
As with other Bluetooth devices, while the headphones are in use, the device with which they are paired should be kept close to the user—in this case, within a 30 foot range. These headphones do not require a Bluetooth PIN to be paired with another device, a feature that makes pairing simple and quick.
They perform well with laptops, iPhones, and iPads, and have connectivity with Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR supporting A2DP, AVRCP, headset profile, and hands-free profile. The sound is great regardless of device, especially compared to earbuds, and the cushioned leather ear pads are comfortable. The controls, which are located on the right side of the headband, next to the ear pad, are intuitive and easy to navigate.
These headphones also have a built-in microphone for cell and VoIP calls. They require about an hour and a half of charging and have a battery life of five hours. Another feature of these headphones is DSP technology with noise cancellation and echo suppression, which is quite effective.
CoolStream Headphone
These headphones don’t feel like they’re engulfing your head, nor are they as intrusive as many earbuds, but they still effectively shut out ambient noise, all without the inconvenience of wires. Recommended.

The Strangest USB Devices

There are a lot of gadgets on the market that are released with hefty price tags and all of the bells and whistles you would expect from the technology industry, but many are just gimmicks underneath. People spend hundreds, even thousands each year on devices and packages, and many discover that what they’ve spent their hard-earned cash on isn’t really worth the price tag after all and is nothing more than an advancement on what they’ve already got, or even a step back.
The Strangest USB DevicesComputers made by all manufacturers have USB capabilities, allowing users to connect a variety of devices ranging from desk fans to wired mice and keyboards, and, of course USB sticks that can be found atwww.usbmakers.com – for example – that help people to work on and save files on the move.
On the other side of the coin, there are a variety of USB devices that are great “stocking fillers”, items that are relatively inexpensive but don’t really provide many benefits – who really wants a USB hand warmer for example, just wear gloves or rub your hands together, you can’t work with one hand wrapped around the warmer anyway!
While some are quite bizarre and, let’s be honest, ineffective, there are plenty of other cost-effective USB devices that, while they might seem strange, can have some really good uses. One such example is a USB desk hoover. Why would you want to hoover your desk you might ask? Well, some people eat their lunch at their desks and rather than sweeping any crumbs onto the floor, you can clean up after yourself to keep your working area clean and tidy at all times.
If you’re the kind of person that is easily stressed, then having something on your desk to help remove that stress can only be a good thing. USB aquariums are great for this, letting you see the water moving on your desk and admiring the fake tropical fish swimming around and helping to relieve the anxieties and even spark some creativity into your work.
Some people sit around at home with cold feet, no matter what you do you just can’t get them warm sometimes. There is actually a USB pair of slippers that will provide some heat when connected to your computer or laptop so you can sit in comfort at home getting on with your work, shopping online or watching TV on demand and finally remembering what your toes feel like!

IPod Touch: Changes That Were Incorporated In The Fifth Generation Models

Apple has always been one of the leading innovators of modern technology. Long before they revolutionised home computing and mobile communication with the release of the iPad and the iPhone, Apple completely changed the mp3 player market thanks to their portable entertainment machine the iPod. Several models of the iPod were developed, but it wasn’t until the release of the iPod Touch that the device became something much more than a music player.
The Evolution of Different Generations
Apple has a habit of constantly refining and innovating its technology. Whether it’s iPods, iPhones or iPads, Apple regularly develops and releases new ‘generations’ of its devices and improves upon previous models. The first generation of the iPod touch brought the iPod family in line with the popular iPhone, and the device now looked and operated like the smartphone.
IPod Touch Fifth Generation ModelsThe first mp3 player to feature touchscreen and Wi-Fi capabilities, the first generation model featured an Internet browser and access to the Apple app store. Further generations added Bluetooth support, built-in speakers and front and rear cameras. However, although it was one of the most advanced mp3 players on the market, the fifth generation still managed to make huge improvements to the device.
Fifth Generation Hardware
The fifth generation features Apple’s powerful A5 processor. The A5 powers new iPad and iPhone models, and it is twice as fast as its A4 predecessor and offers nine times the performance from the built in GPU. This means that the fifth generation models are considerably faster and have much better app performance and multi-tasking capabilities.
This improved performance also allows the device to record 1080p video and take panoramic still photos as well as run Apple’s Siri software. Thanks to Siri’s voice recognition, users can navigate their device and search the Internet just by using voice commands. The fifth generation models are also available in a range of different colours.
Fitting in with the Apple Family
The release of the Fifth Generation iPod Touch means that the mp3 player is now more similar to other technology from the Apple family. Thanks to the Siri voice command software, the new models can be navigated and used like iPads and iPhones. Also, the new A5 processor means that the mp3 player is now as powerful as these other devices, and it can easily run even the most demanding apps
